Ballista 02 Flash Slingshot with Magnetic Wrist Rest

Product Description

A distinctive variation on one of Mavik's original designs, the Ballista 02 Flash Recreational Slingshot combines lightweight handling with convenient integrated ammo storage.

The Ballista 02 Flash features a light plastic handle with molded finger ridges for straightforward handling, plus a leather wrist rest with a magnetic feature designed to hold compatible ammo balls.

Rather than positioning this model for hunting or tactical use, its strongest fit is responsible recreational target practice, outdoor skill building, and collecting.

Lightweight, Ridged Handle

The Ballista 02 Flash uses a lightweight plastic handle designed for simple, comfortable handling.

Molded finger ridges provide defined positioning for the hand, creating a more structured grip during controlled recreational practice.

Leather Wrist Rest

A leather wrist rest adds support behind the grip while giving this original Ballista design its recognizable profile.

The combination of a lightweight handle and wrist support creates a straightforward setup without unnecessary complexity.

Magnetic Ammo Storage

One of the Ballista 02 Flash's most distinctive features is incorporated directly into its wrist rest.

According to the supplier, the leather wrist rest acts as a magnetic holder for compatible ammo balls, keeping ammunition conveniently accessible during a controlled target session.

Magnetic retention will depend on the ammunition's material, size, and weight. Compatibility should be verified before use, and the magnetic feature should not be relied upon to secure ammunition during transportation or storage.

An Original Mavik Design

The Ballista 02 is described by Mavik as one of its original slingshot designs, making the Flash version an interesting choice for enthusiasts of the Ballista lineup.

Its appeal comes from simplicity: lightweight construction, defined finger positioning, wrist support, and an unusual magnetic storage feature.

Safety Note

Use the Ballista 02 Flash only for responsible recreational target practice in a controlled environment.

Wear appropriate eye protection and inspect the frame, bands, wrist rest, and attachment points before each session. Always use a suitable target with a substantial backstop and ensure the surrounding area is completely clear.

Never aim or discharge a slingshot toward people, animals, vehicles, buildings, roads, or unintended targets.

Store ammunition separately and securely when the slingshot is not being used rather than relying on the magnetic wrist rest for storage. Keep the equipment inaccessible to children and follow applicable local laws and regulations.

Why You'll Love It
